Lakeland Historic Car Club
The Lakeland Historic Car Club was formed in 1982 to encourage the preservation and use of historic vehicles older than 25 years.
It was formed after a group of like-minded individuals in the UK’s Lake District National Park realised a need for a club to cater for the growing interest in historic vehicles.
The club has now expanded to include car runs into Yorkshire and North Lancashire. Throughout the year the club hosts events during all the seasons.
This includes, picnic and lunch runs, museum visits and car shows, and winter sunday lunches along with two Christmas events.
Members receive bi-monthly newsletters including details of events for the next two months.
