This Rover ‘Three Thousand Five’ was built on 25th April 1969 and was despatched from the Solihull factory on 28th April 1969. She was purchased new from Charles Hurst Limited, Montgomery Street, Belfast, and was first registered on 19th May 1969.
My father got the car in the 1970s and it was his everyday car until he died in 1986.
I have owned it since then. She attended her first classic car event at Shane’s Castle in 1987 and was winner of the prestigious ‘Benson and Hedges Classic Run’ in August 1991.
Her current mileage is now over 230,000 and during her history has proved to be a very reliable motor car.
